Antonio Mas

Winery

Antonio Mas is one of the most emblematic oenologists of Argentina. His name represents a significant part of the country’s modern wine history, fueled by his role as a pioneer in the field of Argentinian terroir-inspired viticulture and modern winemaking.

From 1994 to 2011, he led the winemaking and vineyard management at Finca La Anita, the first successful Chateaux-style-model-Argentine winery. With thoughts of developing his own family project, his knowledge and vision drove him to select and purchase vineyards in Tupungato, Uco Valley. Today, he works in partnership with his sons Manuel (Oenologist) and Santiago (Executive Director), showcasing ‘Antonio Mas’ Wines worldwide.

Vineyards

Their vineyard is located in La Arboleda, Tupungato, the heart of Uco Valley in Mendoza. This specific region is considered one of the most privileged to grow high-quality grapes in Argentina, a place chosen by some of the best producers to make elite wines. Antonio Mas vineyards were planted more than 16 years ago with proven and very special clones of Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay.
